SCP PE-721-01 is a Humanoid with duplicative properties.

Overview

WaluiGi, hereby referred to as PE-72100-01, is an entity that gains power through popularity. Most of its support comes from those without control of the original character.

Appearance

SCP PE-721-01 is a tall, humanoid creature with pointy ears and a crooked mustache. It generally wears a purple shirt with black overalls, white gloves, and a purple hat. Although it’s wardrobe may vary, the main color will almost always be purple.

Function

SCP PE-721-01 gains more strength, speed, and endurance if it is able to gain followers. Followers needn’t be able to be near SCP PE-721-01 or even be in the same universe so long as they support the character itself. This support is most readily available in the form of people creating caricatures of SCP PE-721-01 on the internet. If a caricature of SCP pe-721-01 gains enough support SCP PE-721-01 will generate an instance of SCP PE-721-02 in the caricature’s likeness. If another is generated it will be labeled SCP PE-721-03 and so forth with further instances. An instance of SCP PE-721-02 will collect power in the same way SCP-721-01 will, and power gained by SCP PE-721-02 will be shared with SCP-721-02, but the reverse is untrue. This is the same with every instance other than SCP-721-01. If an instance of SCP PE-721-01 loses enough support it will dissipate. It is theorized the same would happen to SCP Pe-721-01. Any power that SCP PE-721-01 gains will not give it any abilities outside of theoretical human capabilities, for example, it will never be able to shoot energy blasts. As a result of this, it will never be any more dangerous than a Plague class SCP. It can still have super human strength, speed, and endurance.

History and Discovery

Recovery

The recovery of SCP PE-721-01 was relatively easy. It had quite a bit of power, but we had the technology to easily capture and contain it. The main problem came from finding, capturing, and containing every instance it had created, but we had the resources to do so easily and efficiently.

History

SCP PE-721-01 was created when a Japanese videogame company on earth created the character “WaluiGi” for the game “Mario Tennis” in the year 2000 A.D. It took some years, but WaluiGi eventually gained a large following and SCP PE-721-01 had generated itself from this popularity. It is unknown how it had doneso. It would regularly go to “conventions” in order to find followers and grow its power, as well has find caricatures to create new instances and gain more power. It is unknown why it so desperately finds followers and tries to gain power. It is likely a form of a survival instinct.

Containment and Testing

Test Log 01

A new caricature of SCP PE-721-01 was created and posted on the internet in a universe separate from the one the SCP PE-721-01 was contained in. SCP PE-721-01 had generated an instance of SCP PE-721-02 in the likeness of the caricature.

Test Log 02

The previously used caricature was removed from the internet. After followers of this caricature forgot of it, SCP PE-721-02 had dissipated.

Test Log 03

An instance of SCP PE-721-02 was infected with Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis. The Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis successfully took control of the instance of SCP PE-721-02.

 Addendums

Addendum 01

Since SCP PE-721-01 can generate infinite instances of SCP PE-721-02, it is possible to make caricatures of it with desirable body traits in order to make infinite bodies with potentially superhuman strength, speed, and endurance to infect with Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis.
