[PE-9999]

Mycelium Transfer Protocol

[Description]

Overview:

Mycelium hereby referred to as PE-9999 is an extremely thin web capable of transferring large amounts of data between organic organisms. The Shroominati have adopted this technology as a superior alternative to typical hivemind data transfer protocol.

Appearance:

PE-9999 acts as a web-based wiring that sticks to any surface. It is extremely thin and almost invisible to the naked eye. Through a microscope, PE-9999 looks like an extremely cluttered layer of white electrical wires.

Function:

PE-9999 can connect to members of the Shroominati as an alternative to typical hivemind data transfer protocol (SPORE). This is done simply by wiping PE-9999 on any part of the body. After PE-9999 is attached, it cannot be detached due to its extremely sticky potency. However, it can easily be moved.

[HISTORY]

PE-9999 was created by the Shroominati R&D team during Project TP. The goal of Project TP was to create a hivemind data transfer protocol with faster speeds than SPORE. They managed to create the substance of PE-9999 with organic materials and a fungus capable of growing at an extremely rapid pace.

PE-9999 was given a test trial in research facility [redacted]. The entire building’s interior was coated in a layer of PE-9999. Initial tests proved to be highly promising showing a data transfer rate improvement of at least 300x.

After these initial tests, PE-9999 was adopted into all other major Shroominati facilities.
